Had a great day yesterday. Nancy and I and the girls went out to dinner last night together. We had a good time chatting and goofing off with each other. I love my family.

Yesterday morning Garren had a low grade fever, so they put him back on pressure support to give his body a chance to rest. Today his fever is gone and he is ready for a full day of work. Here's what his schedule looks like today:

9:00-9:30 - Physical Thereapy
9:30-10:00 - Speech Therapy
10:00-11:00 - Occupational Therapy
11:00-1:00 - Break
1:00-2:00 - Physical Therapy

At this point, there is a lot of overlap in the different types of therapy. Each therapist does things with Garren to stimulate muscle movement, and to get a response from Garren.

Just to put this into perspective, for you and me this would be the equivalent of going to the gym and working out for 4-5 hours. It's a lot of work.

Pray today for Garren to respond well to the therapy.
Pray that his body will continue to gain strength.

We will continue to pray for Garren and for your entire family.
God sometimes does not deliver us from the fire and flood but he certainly walks through it with us and shows favor at the end when we remain faithful. We pray for the strength and endurance that your family and Garren needs at this time. You all are such an inspiration to each of us and even though we have never met you all...we love you for who you are and what you are in each circumstance....Thomas and Lynda

Praying for strength& endurance for Garren's marathon. We know God is holding his hand every step of the way. So glad that you guys were able to enjoy some time out last night with the girls. I'm sure it seemed so nice. We'll also be praying that no fever returns& progress will remain steady!

Just got caught up on all the blogs after being down for a few days and it sounds like Garren is keeping busy. Our three year olds are now praying for Garren on their own...we hear them in the other room saying "Jesus, put your hands on Garren and heal him." They have really connected with prayer through Garren's journey and they want to meet him when he's better. It's amazing how much love there is in our house for someone we've never met. We will continue to pray for a complete recovery and for a responsive day in therapy. In for the long haul, The Sisk Family

God is your strength and shield! He will cause you to persevere in spite of your weaknesses, He even holds us up when we are bowed down. Our prayer for today is that Garren will persevere also through the entire day of workout that is scheduled for him. Lean harder on the Lord brother, He is a Rock that is immovable and will not fail. Thank you for sharing with us on Sunday, Geoffrey. The hard reality is exactly what you said, "Life can change in a moment. Your next breath is not guaranteed." We must make the most of our days. Thank you for showing us how to do that.

Thought you'd like to know that 2 people came to my office today asking about Garren. I've never mentioned Garren to either of them but they knew Garren went to our church and they've been praying for him. Both of their local churches are praying for Garren's complete healing.

Praise God for a community of Believers! You all continue to be in our daily prayers. We love the whole Janes family.

We continue in prayer for all of you. Many thanks for your reminder that our loved ones are only on loan and belong to Him. Praying it is a good day for Garren and that his family is strengthened! Anita Kaye
