Just a Note of Clarification

Based on some of the comments I have gotten from my last post, I feel like I need to clarify something for everyone.

When I say sitting up, or putting Garren in a chair, I mean we sat Garren up, and we moved him to a chair. Garren is still only able to open his eyes, wiggle his toes sometimes, and move his fingers sometimes. In rehab, the therapies right now are about moving Garren until he can move himself.

Even though it's being done for him right now, I know it must be a great sight for you all to see him changing positions. Sounds like he's surrounded by a great staff of people.

For us blog addicts, it's tough to wait on a new post, but I think we all believe that no news from you is good news, in a sense. I think it's a blessing that you're too busy to write as often, which definitely shows how Garren is progressing and working hard on his recovery. Speech, OT/PT, and school, in addition to everything else, trump the entries, so we'll happily take whatever you can spare to give us. Just know that during the in-between times, many prayers are being said for Garren's restoration and healing...and without a doubt, God is doing great things.

Rest peacefully and tell Garren how proud we are to be on his team. In for the long haul, The Sisk Family
