Tuesday February 8 7:00pm

I am still just simply blown away at the prayer efforts that are happening literally around the world. It is simply overwhelming to think about the number of people that are praying for Garren. It is amazing to hear so many of you say that you can't concentrate on your daily work, because all you can think about is Garren.

I am blessed. My church staff gathered first thing Monday morning and distributed my responsibilities so that I don't have to think about anything. I cannot imagine trying to focus on anything else right now.

Garren is doing great right now. Still heavily sedated. Relying on the ventilator to breathe. The nurse said today that basically they are keeping his body alive in order to allow the brain time to recover and heal. Medical technology is simply amazing.

They will take their time weening Garren off the sedation. Again, allowing the brain the time it needs to heal.

Here is a picture of a group of people standing outside our home lifting Garren in prayer.

I love how prayer removes borders, longitudes, and latitudes. I love how prayer unifies the body of Christ. I love that we can help carry your very heavy burden right now.

The LORD your God in your midst,
The Mighty One, will save;
He will rejoice over you with gladness,
He will quiet you with His love,
He will rejoice over you with singing.”
Zeph. 3:17

Praying for each of you! We love you guys!

Geoffrey, Nancy and Family,

Got back the other night from being out of town to find out about Garren's situation. I was stunned, to say the least. Know that we are standing beside you guys and lifting you all in prayer. Great to see the Body covering your family. May our Lord sustain you all throughout this time. We are here for you no matter what time day or night.

Geoffrey,

From one LIS alumni to another, the prayers of the Carvers are with Garren and your family. The Lord works in amazing ways, we pray for strength and the best of all outcomes for Garren. Prayer is powerful and have many of the Lord's faithful pulling for the Janes'. God bless!

Mr. and Mrs. Janes,

So nice to have met your family this evening. Garren is a very blessed boy to have such a wonderful, loving family.

I am from WV, and I just wanted to let you know that people there are lifting Garren up in prayer also.

We all really miss Garren at school and continue to pray for his healing and recovery.

Good night Garren. I've never met you, but you're the last thing I think of when I close my eyes at night in prayer...when I wake up, you're on my mind! I hurry to the blog site to see what you're awesome dad has posted. People all over FL are praying too!

My twins are 3.5...they don't fully understand what's going on, but they know you're in need of prayer. They saw the picture of you in your football uniform today, and my daughter said "He looks just like the ones on TV." Since your dream is to play for the NFL, maybe she's on to something. This afternoon, both of them came in to my office and held my hands...at first I didn't understand, but my son said "I pray." When I asked what he wanted to pray for, my daughter spoke up and said "It's time to pray for Garren and his football again." It brought tears to my eyes for about the hundreth time in several days.

You've touched many lives, from the very young to the very old and everything in between.

I have no idea why I'm writing short novels on the blog site, but I guess I just wanted to say thanks...thanks for allowing all of us to love you and thanks for the unity you've brought together with people all over the world. What a great kid you are...sleep peacefully tonight in the hands of God.

Our family is continuing to pray unceasingly. I find myself to be one of those people that can't stop thinking and praying for him and your family. Maybe because I have had to walk this path more than once with Sean. We shared about Garren with our prayer warrior family in OR & WA, so they are continuing to lift all of you up to the Lord throughout their days as well.
Blessings, Chris Hogan & family

The other night's prayer group was amazing, I cried, I prayed, I hope Garren realizes, when he wakes up, how many people have kept him in their prayers. I pray that Garren begins to heal soon, and nothing is permanently damaged, and everything goes back to normal. I pray for him every night, before I go to bed, and every morning when I wake up.
My family, not knowing Garren, only from what I have told them, have kept him in their prayers. My sister went to his prayer group, scared to say a prayer out loud, scared that some one was going to say something about her not knowing. I told her plenty of people that don't know Garren are praying for him, no one will say anything. Next time we go to prayer group, she said she would say a prayer for him.
I will keep Garren and the whole family in my prayers, I know it must be hard. <3
