Garren just got back to his room. The surgery went well. Everyone here (medical staff) seems to be happy with the results.

He is back on sedation because of the surgery. We will probably not see much from Garren until later today, or even tomorrow, as we wait for the medication to wear off.

We want to give Garren as much of an opportunity to rest as possible. Nancy and I would like to request that we have no visitors today.

Thank you - we love you all!

Geoffrey, we have not met, but my family attends the Weddington campus and we have been able to hear your preach. We have been following your blog and praying for you since Garren was admitted to the hospital. We are uplifting your family in prayer daily. Today my prayer is that Garren's body can rest after the surgery this a.m. and that healing continues.

Geoffrey and Nancy, we are praying for rest for you all... once you hit rehab it is all work. Mitchell spent a month on the 4th floor rehab. What an awesome unit of Dr's, nurses, and therapists. Garren (and you guys) will be in great hands. Continuing to pray for complete healing for Garren and for your family. If you have a choice of rooms dont take the end one. The couch is not long enough for you to sleep on :)(just giving you the inside scoop) Love you Janes family, rest and replenish today!!!! The Gates

We are glsd that Garren is doing good. My mom was wondering where Garren is in the hospital, she has something to give him one day next week. She works in a doctors office in the hospital and would like to know where she needed to bring it to. Please email me at ang.elw5023@yahoo.com thanks.

Wow quite the week for Garren in his developements and each time we prayed in the a.m God answered in the P.m! He is faithful.
Rest, rest and rest and thank you for being able to request no visits today. You need your space and quiet too - especially with the work ahead of you.
May rest and sleep come easily for you both tonight.

My friends at work come up to me and ask about Garren on a daily basis and they tell me how they are praying for him. One of my friends came up to me today and said that at her Church in Anson Co, Amazing Grace, they are lifting Garren up on Sundays and Wednesdays at the altar. It is a blessing to be HIS representative and Garren's prayer advocate at work. I love you all!!!
