Workday

I love progress. I love seeing things how they were and how they are progressing. Checkout these before and after shots:

Work started at 8:00 this morning. When I got home after my little half marathon, there were 15 or 20 people hard at work. Windows installed, about 1/3 of the floor raised, plumbing work started. Simply amazing. I don't even know half of the people I saw working on my house. So amazing.

God is so awesome. He continues to supply funding and volunteers. We'll have a ramp built from the door you see in the picture. It will go from the door to the driveway. All the labor and lumber for the ramp is being donated.

My race went well this morning. I finished. 13.1 miles - 1 minute and 37 seconds over my goal of 2 hours, but hey, I finished.

Thank you so much to all of you who are working on or donating toward Garren's new room. It is truly overwhelming.

Just got back from getting Joe and Brian from your house and they were so pumped. Joe said the view from Garren's window is going to be fabulous, and Brian was just glad he could help- glad they needed someone small enough to crawl into the attic to get the insulation up there. What a fabulous group of workers you had out there today!

How incredibly awesome! Looks like Garren's going to have the best room in the house. So thankful these people are helping you and donating their time and materials. Great job completing the 1/2 marathon. Continuing to pray and hoping Garren's eye is doing much better today. In for the long haul, The Sisk Family

What a testimony of God's limitless supply and means of answering prayers! He uses men and women to be His hands, His feet and His voice to live His life through them as a testimony to a lost and dying world. Thank You Lord!

it is so exciting to see God answer prayer. Thanks so much for the pictures.. We continue to pray for your family at I Lift My Eyes Ministries and I am personally so blessed by God's people heeding God's call to be the hands and feet, walking and talking answers to prayer that God has called them to be. I believe that God will raise Garren up and that his story will be draw many into the kingdom.

Congratulations on your run today! It was a beautiful day for that. I think that was an awesome time. Still wanting to run my first 1/2 marathon this year. I would be glad to give advice on Garrens new room. Just let me know what you guys are thinking and I will help with what I can!!! Amazing the work that is already accomplished, proof of what can be done when we all work together.

Congratulations on completing the half marathon!! Way to go. I wouldn't even make it one mile, well maybe if something was chasing me! God sure is awesome. We continue to pray for Garren's room to be completed and the van. We continue to pray for all of you and Garren. God does provide.

If God is showing love for you by having so many people that you don't know working on your home, than be encouraged that your God, whom you serve, has a wonderful plan for you, and another reminder of how much God loves you as seen by His love coming through the other people for you!!! This is amazingly exciting! How is Garren today? Please tell him to take it slow, and that we are proud of all that he is able to do...love & prayers, Sandy & Russ

Good morning, Garren and family...it is a nice day outside...a gift from God...you, too, are all gifts from God to all of us, and to each other...as gifts we want to let you know that we are all here for you and are praying for all of you...Garren, do not be discouraged with what you can do, and what you want to do, but may not yet be able to do...just keep trying...we will keep praying...have a sense of God being amongst you all today...love and prayers, Sandy & Russ

Wow . . .we're praising God with you for God's awesome and abundant provision for Garren's room. Can't wait to see pictures of the finished product and to hear about how Garren likes it as the days ensue. ;-)
God does exceedingly more than we can ask or think, doesn' He?

Continuing to pray daily . .
Love,

1 Peter 4:10 ....Each one should use whatever gift he has received to serve others, faithfully administering God's grace in its
various forms......what a blessing it is to have others help us during a time of need....it looks as if a lot of people have used their gifts and talents to start a great work for the need that your family has at this time. We look forward each day to seeing how God is working in our lives and your family's life.. and in Garren's healing....it is wonderful to see all of the progress on the room and to hear each day the steps that Garren is taking toward recovery.
