Today is day 28 for Garren. It's hard to believe it's been an entire four weeks since this all started!

Garren had a great day today. We were able to make it through all of his therapy sessions uninterrupted. Each of the therapists observed movement and small responses from Garren.

One of the responses that has become evident in the last couple of days is squinting to bright light, and 'flinching' in response to a potential threat. In other words, if you move your hand quickly toward Garren's face he closes his eyes in response. So far I owe Garren quite a few "two for flinching" punches! (It's a middle school game, for those that don't know!)

Garren wore his new Team Garren shirt today. It looks good on him!

Well, I better get settled in for the night, we've got another full day tomorrow. Have a great night!

Four weeks....my, how the time does fly, yet when you're in the middle of it, that time span seems like an eternity. We know the days are long& trying, so we still stand firm in prayer with you& Nancy. I know you can't wait to play more" two for flinching" with Garren and I'm sure you'd take all he could dole out!! Hope you guys have a restful night.

Love you all,
Donna, Ritchie, Racheal, Katherine, Luke, Madelyn, And Brady

I know that when you're living it, time stands still at some moments and spirals like a whirl wind at others. I'm sure you're all exhausted, but it's such a beautiful blessing to know Garren is making progress a little every day. You and Nancy are an inspiration to all of us, so I can only imagine what you both are to Garren. I know prayers are being answered. By the way, where can we buy our "Team Garren" t-shirts? Continuing to pray. In for the long haul, The Sisk Family

So glad to hear about the newest "baby steps" and continuing to pray for you all! Your story about the lantern the other day was very touching! God does speak in mysterious ways, doesn't He? He provides that reassurance just when we need it the most! It was very comforting! Keep the fight!

Good morning family...ready to begin another day with God? Russ says that this is the only month with a commmand in it, and it is this day..."March fourth"..so, with that in mind, we march fourth in prayers for you..we encourage you to march fourth in leaning on the Lord for the strength for this day, and to march fourth in continuing to read His word to Garren and to each other, and to march fouth and find all the blessings God has already planned for you!! March Fourth, and enjoy! Praying until.....Love, Sandy & Russ

Love hearing each and every encouraging baby step. What a powerful way for the Lord to teach us about patience and total dependence on Him. We'll continue to pray! To God be the Glory for the things He has done and will continue to do! Praise Him! -Dory
