More Room Progress

Work continued on Garren's room today. Hopewell Baptist Church sent a team of workers over to build a wheelchair ramp. They don't mess around. The ramp looks awesome!

The painting started this afternoon. I can't wait to see the finished product.

Tomorrow is Nancy's mom's 80th birthday. We had a great time with family and friends celebrating together. Nancy and her brother and sister planned a big party, and there was quite a crowd there to celebrate with us. Happy Birthday!

Garren continues to do well today. His eyes are getting stronger. He's doing great breathing on his own. Pray that his left eye gets stronger, so he can blink. We have to keep a patch over his eye to keep it closed, otherwise it dries out and gets irritated.

The ramp is totally beautiful! The fanciest ramp I have ever seen! I can tell Baptists had a hand in building it, LOL! Rejoicing with all of you on behalf of Garren. I will pray...

Father God,

We gather around Your Mercy Seat to lift up Garren'sneeds again. His left eye needs to gain strength Lord so he can blink so it won't dry out and become irritated. I tell you this so You can answer specifically, not to give You information You already know about. You are so awesome and amazing Father, we give You praise and honor and glory through Your Son Jesus Christ and By the power of Your Holy Spirit. Amen.

We are so glad to hear that the ramp is almost complete....sounds like you have a lot of people working to make things happen quickly....We are glad to hear that Garren will be able to stay in the hospital a little while longer and to get the therapy and medical attention that he still needs....sounds as if he is still making a lot of progress.

Remember that on the days that you feel weak and tired .. that your entire family has a lot of friends..."Friends are angels who lend us their wings when our wings have forgotten how to fly"...So when you become discouraged...and we all do from time to time...that you have a lot of friends here to lift you up until you are ready to fly again.

You all are in our thoughts and prayers daily....we pray for strength, healing, hope and faith...and love that never fails.
